Hello beauties!! I am back with another blog post and as mentioned in my last blog this one is going to be a review post. I’m reviewing the Lakme Enrich Satin P171 today. Lets get into it!
So I was looking up for some affordable lipsticks that would be apt for the summer when I came across this one at Nykaa. Nykaa had this big Holi sale and this lipstick broke down to INR 143 which is originally priced at INR 260.
Colour description!
To be honest the colour looks a little different on the site and turns out to be different in real.
This shade is a really bright pink with blue undertones. It’s a tricky shade!
Definitely not for the ones who have dark or pigmented lips or who tend to have paler skin tone. Since the colour is too bright it might end up making your skin look more pale than it is.
Texture!
The texture feels amazing! It glides onto your lips really easily but it does tend to b a little extra creamy!
Pigmentation!
The pigmentation of the lipstick is good, however you wouldn’t get the exact shade if you apply it directly on dark/pigmented lips.
How to apply!
Want lipsticks that you directly slide onto your lips??? This lipstick is not that type! To get the most out of the bright beautiful colour it is, conceal your lips or you could apply a foundation too. Once you are done with the concealer, you can go ahead with the application and it ll make all the difference!
Blotting?!
Yes!! This one needs blotting! Once you are done applying the lipstick, grab a tissue and press in gently between your lips. You could also place a tissue on your lips and brush off some compact or loose powder over it to lock the colour!
Staying power!
It has a good staying power of around 3-5 hours since its Lakme! Even after that, the lipstick leaves light tints on your lips making the lips look stained! The colour washes off completely with a makeup remover.
Money wise!
I got this one for INR 143 which was like a total steal!
All in all, this colour is definitely not for the faint hearted! Its bold, bright and tricky, but so apt for the summers! So pop a bright pink on your lips this summer and keep rocking! 😉
